Hello world.....

At last...internet. We had the guy come this morning and now have internet...Yay! So long time no speak, huh.. Sorry. I got really fed up of hunting down internet cafes where I had a time limit before the kids got bored and I ran out of time half way through posting anyway. So we are in the house and our caravan is now sat on the drive looking a bit lost.

and we have now gone from that to this...

It is very strange being in somewhere so big and I am still getting used to it. I really enjoyed being in the caravan and if it wasn't for the children struggling so with the heat during the afternoon I would still be in it. Living in such a space gives you a connection with the outside that you can't get living in a house. Any way, we are in and it is much cooler for the children and it is nice to have some where to call base for  a few months rather then just a few weeks. so news...

We have been out and about meeting new people and seeing bits that have been going on here over the summer. We went to an amazing medieval market with loads of stalls and displays on all sorts of things. There was different food stalls, animals, clothes and jewellery, and it was all lit up all evening. It was very beautiful. Photos below of the market, Amy's activities, and some of the activities in the garden...

So we unpacked and moved our stuff into the house and the children soon were loving it. Amy especially loves the pool and by day three had learnt to swim. We took here arm bands off and I got in and gave her some support for a couple of hours and then she was off. Now she looks like a little fish swimming about. So no more arm bands...she is so pleased with herself! 

Then it was the count down until daddy was going to arrive... so we made calenders so that we could count down the sleeps.

and in true Tim styley...he arrives a day early. What do you expect...it's Tim. He got the days wrong when he sent me the details and arrives a day early. Nice surprise apart from the fact that I had the internet guy here as his text came through saying he was getting on the plan! Doh. Off to Malaga airport. So Tim is here and they are all playing in the pool. A week of the children spending time with him and a few day trips out I think. We might organise a bbq here on Saturday with some of the people I now know. We will see. It's too hot to run around any where.
